Responsible for the orthodontic side of treatment: diagnosing the bite, preparing the dental arch with braces before the surgical stage, and bringing the bite to a stable result after surgery.

Works closely with the maxillofacial surgeon at every stage of orthognathic treatment, from the initial consultation and joint review of imaging to the final result. This approach allows both the position of the teeth and the position of the jaws to be taken into account, not just one of these factors.

Before surgery, explains to the patient how long orthodontic preparation will take and how the plan may change depending on diagnostic findings.
